Current version of the commander's gaggle at "the goat". Squadrons include the 389th FS, 390th FS, 391st FS, 34th BS and the 22nd ARS.

Desert version of the 366th Gaggle.

Current version of the 366th Wing's Op's Support Sq. at Mt Home AFB ID. Members of the OSS fly F-16CJ's, F-15E's and C's as well as KC-135's and B-1's.

The 366th motto "The Gunfighters" stemmed from the early use of the SUU-16 20mm gun pod in air to air combat over Vietnam in 1967. Then Col "Boots" Blesse was the Wing DO and fought for and won the right to use the pod, with great success. The crews at Mt Home use this as a Desert TDY heritage patch.

The Gunfighters Air Expeditionary Wing was one of the first units out the door to deploy for Operation Enduring Freedom. The Gunfighters are using this patch for the 2001 EF deployment.

391st Fighter Squadron was tasked to supply 9 WSO's to the 335th FS during OIF. This desert patch was created for these 9 back-seaters that flew combat with the Chiefs but still belonged to the Bold Tigers .
